Abstract

The review of articles, archival documents and other materials published in the journal Solovyov Studies, devoted to Slavophilic problems, including programme objectives and goals of the Slavophilic movement and their philosophical justification, problems of perception of Slavophilic ideas in Russian society, evaluation of the polemics of Slavophiles and Westerners in the history of Russian thought and modern studies. The publications devoted to the early and late Slavophiles, as well as to the representatives of Académie Slavophilisme are considered. Publications on the topic "V.S. Solovyov and the Slavophiles" are highlighted. The important contribution made by Russian authors to the study of the Slavophile heritage is noted. Studies of academic Slavophilism (the doctrines of K.N. Bestuzhev-Ryumin, V.I. Lamansky, O.F. Miller) are characterised as a new direction in historical and philosophical science. It is noted that the articles devoted to academic Slavophilism significantly deepen the knowledge about the phenomenon of Slavophilism and its evolution. The introduction of the second "Historical Letter" by V.I. Lamansky, devoted to the theme of mutual relations between the Slavs and Germanic peoples, is extremely important. The comparative analysis of works on the theme "Russia and Europe" in early and late Slavophilism is no less important direction of research. The comparative analysis of the views of A.S. Khomyakov and V.I. Lamansky reveals a significant difference between the approaches of representatives of different generations of Slavophiles to the assessment of relations between Russia and Europe.
